Interior color question

Is it normal that with a light color interior, that the entire dash/console and door panels are black??

That interior is exactly stock. I have an '01 with tan leather and it looks the exact same (only cleaner).

Same is true with the 94 tan int. Looks the same to me.

yes....at first glance this looks out of the ordinary... but it is stock!
