Interesting how the NSX is still used in advertising.

While at Best Buy tonight, I noticed two computer products with pictures of the NSX on the package. On was a drawing on an educational game program for PC, and the other was a picture on a "Targus" power pack for laptops. Also, I'm sure that everyone has noticed that the ad for "Lexol" has always pictured the interior of the NSX.

I find it strange that there are so many people out there that feel the NSX is outdated, yet it's still obviously used as a good marketing device.

I think all the people who say the NSX is outdated are car journalists who just have to say that. It's impossible to say that a 10-12 year old model looks as fresh today as it did then - they wouldn't sell any magazines!
I've said it may times and I'll say it again . . the NSX is timeless (up to 2001 model). It will look as fresh 15 years down the road as it does today.

Agreed. The '91-'01 NSX design is indeed classy and timeless.

Also, considering the rarity of the NSX, most of the population have yet to see one up close and personal. So the next time someone sees you driving the NSX, it might be their very first time seeing one, which without fail leads to the "cool car, what is it?" question.

As such in this context the NSX design is as fresh as ever.

Does Acura give approval for, and receive reimbursement for, the appearance of its product on these labels and ads? Anybody know?
