Anyone have a suggestion to make the lights behind the instrument panel brighter? Or is there another panel that's better??

You do know there is an adjustment.

If you have it turned all the way up then it should be more then bright enough. You need to look at the dimmer and see why it' not working correctly.
So my instrument panel seems dim and it's turned all the way up. What should I check or do to make it brighter? Also, during the daytime I can barely see my clock. Is that normal?
Regarding the clock, if you’re driving with your headlights on during the day, then yes the clock is dim.

No, my headlights are not on. When it's noon and sun is above, it shines on the dash and I can't see the clock.
Install the chrome/polished bezel trim rings. The reflected light noticeably brightened up my cluster!
