could anyone give me directions i got the stacy's sides

Depends on how old they are. The newest version sold through Downforce and SOS are direct replacements, IIRC. The older ones, the first ones actually made by Stacy require brackets and drilling. You can fab up a set yourself or buy pre-fabbed stuff from SOS.

i just got em and they said they go right on the stock sides

They stiil work best if you add urethane or one screw on each side just under the vents but yes you can hang them off the stock clips .
Also , I like to add a nut and bolt in at the rear on the tab at the bottom of the quarter panel.

Go to the Downforce web site and they have well written instructions on how to install them. When you get on the site go to the Acura section and click on exterior and then you will see the Stacy Side Skirts on the second page and the instructions are there.

Do you have to remove the thingy that has VIN # on the rocker panel? This does not mention on the instrutction

Did you test fit the skirts? Did it cover/hit the ID plate?

I got it off already and I assume it would fit because it is made by DF. Only question now I have is -the aftermarket skirts don't have the holes to hold the ID plate. Do you usually have to create those holes? See these pic below.

OEM has holes for ID plate insertions and aftermarket does not have ones.

Any ideas? Please chime in.

I just installed the Downforce Stacey side skirt on my car. Perfect fit ! Remove the VIN plate and just cut of the brackets that goes inside the OEM skirt. The plate will stay fine without these, but I took some double sided tape to make it hold better. When you attach the skirt you should put a screw in each end to make it fit perfect. I will recomend you to be 2 persons when you put it on. Take of the brackets from the OEM skirt and attach on the Stacey, make sure to put them in the neautral position and just simply push the skirt on. Easy job...Took me about 1,5 hour to remove and attach the new skirt.
