Tomorrow I will be installing my clutch. I will be using two quarts of Penzoil synchromesh and one quart mobile one ls 75/90. here are a few pics of the clutch. as i go along i will take plenty of pics and do a write up. I know cspeed has a great write up which will come in handy. I will also rebuild the axles since i'm there.

I just put one of those in my car a few months ago. It's awesome. I finally have about 500mi on it so I'm ready for spring to really get on it. Good choice, you should really like it. Check your axle seals. I had one that was leaking and the other one didn't look great. Had to wait a week for them to finish up the job. Wish I checked ahead of time. Good luck with it, shouldn't be too hard for you.

Yah, a guy should have some axle seals when doing a clutch, just in case.
They aren't that much to have or just replace because.
Also really clean and inspect the cone that your throw out bearing rides on.
Enjoy the clutch.
I know I wouldn't!

I'm actually just talking about the two seals where the shafts plug into the Differential.

Yah, like trev said, the 2 axel seals on the tranny. They are 10-15 each. It looks like someone who popped the axle out in the past tore one of mine. The other was brittle and since they are so easy to pop in, you might as well.

lOl! I really wanted to do it this weekend, but i'm sure tomorrow and until monday my body and fingers will be killing me! my finger tips kinda hurt as i type from turning screws.

LoL! I LOVE IT! it's a bit stiff, but nothing i can get used to. It seems to catch immediately, but i'm catching the hang of it. I have about 60 miles on it, so tomorrow i'm taking a long drive to big bear for a break in and some street tuning to have it dialed in so that sunday i can take it straight to the tune shop to seal the deal for 14 psi. the acceleration is much, much better. When i take off i keep chirping my tires sometimes. I'm deffin satisfied with my decision on this clutch. Pictures are on the way soon.

And, you can always do the dali mod he has on his website to help reduce some of the pressure on your leg.
Requires re drilling the mounting point of the clutch pedal.

You kidding? You want him to become the next Dali Statistic?

I am not kidding! lol
Reading on the Dali site is free and costs nothing in funds or metal pain!!!
I have thought many times of how to change the pivot point of the clutch pedal for those that have the stronger sprung clutches. Since I did not have such clutch, I never looked into the pivot points and structure.
I have not seen any posts on this simple home done mod that would indicate that the idea is a bad thing, so i was just passing the idea on.
I have bad knees and this DIY would be the way I would lean to.
Let me know if you have heard anything bad about this from it actually being done.
Thanks
Trev
