Installation of the Dali Window Fix-it thingies questions...

Again.. thanks to everyone for sharing their
knowledge about various topics...

I have a few questions about installing
the Dali window fix-it thingies:

1.) Is the slotted pliers necessary to pull the two cables into the thingies?

2.) I know in faq section, one owner managed
to get the cables into the thingies by moving
the windows slight up and down... not sure
if he then put the cables into the thingies
by hand or used the custom slotted pliers...

1. Not absolutely necessarly, but they make it much, much easier.

2. If you don't use the slotted pliers, I would recommend removing the entire regulator from the door and working on it on a bench. A second person would be helpful.

Especially if he's an experienced NSX tech and you let him do it himself.
