Installation of Smartenna ? Any tips ?

Ive bought a Smartenna, and hope to install it myself.

For those who have installed these themselves, where does this unit install (ie, near antenna, or behind radio, etc) and whats involved.

Post your thoughts, experiences, tips, etc here to help give me a heads up on this piece !

Just found the detailed installation sheet in the faq (Doh!) and its answered just about all my questions. Anyone have any other tips that may or may not be listed in the installation sheet ?

Which version of the smartenna did you get? (The older version has no connectors....)

A while back BZ and I managed to employ OEM connectors so there is no wire cutting. It should all be plug and play: unless you _want_ to start cutting wires.

There is only one place to put it and it takes about minute to install it.

To make it a bit more challenging you can climb in the trunk, close it and do it with your eyes closed. But then again, it's so easy that you probably don't have to close the trunk, just your eyes. :biggrin:
