Inside door handle broken - what are my options?

So - I did a search and it looks like there are the metal Dali fix-its or I could spend $400 in parts at Acura( not an attractive option). However, I don't know if the plastic is broken or its the metal. And, the handle still kinda works. Its just the top portion that is broken, the bottom part is still attached but I don't think it will last long...

How do I check to ensure whats broken? Also, could I buy the parts needed online from a place that deals in salvaged NSX parts? if such a place exists...

Michael, PM "NSXROC", he's a close friend of mine, and he just did that last summer with the Dali kit. I'm not involved with the work, so I couldn't chip in any opinion

having become an unintended expert on these doors[aka owner...],
if you want, you can have the upper piece from my driver door repair, as i ended up getting the "new piece"[aka new door pull ][ thanx PRIME!!!!].
pm with you info, and it's yours.
the dali fixit is jigged for the lower connection to the door release cable
