Inline Skate Fans: Need some help

Inline Skate Advice

Looking for opinions on a few models I'm looking at:
Rollerblade Lightning 05
K2 Mod 8.5
Salomon Pilot 9 or 9ti

Any thoughts on these or other models that compete in the same niche of fitness inline skates? I have a wide forefoot, so a spacious toebox is of interest.

What type of skates are you looking for: hockey, general, racing? I have the old school RB Lightnings (replaced plastic components with aluminum ones), and they are fun and can take a great beating (and I'm still using them 10 years later). My brother has a pair of nicer Roces racing skates (5 wheel with large wheel diameter) that have a nice leather shoe and the bottom is removable for standard 4 wheel blades or an ice skating blade. Racing skates are quite a bit faster, but not nearly as maneuverable as hockey or general skates.

I haven't kept up with them in years, so I don't know about the models you suggested, but the purpose question can help others answer you.
