Infinit Perfect Components

Just got a hold of a set of Inifiniti Perfect 6.5" components.
I like to install the spkrs on my 91 but I noticed that the
X-over is quite big. It's approx. 5x7" inches and 1 1/2" thick.
Just wondering if this would fit inside the door panel
or if I would have to mount it somewhere else like under
or behind the seats. thank you.

The CDT crossover is probably similar size, although yours may be even larger - I know mine just barely fit in there - the problem is the depth rather than length/width issue.
One other thought is to remove the crossover substrate with the components, from the housing to see if that will buy you anything - since its behind the door skin, doesn't need to be in fancy enclosure.
If it won't fit in the same location as mine, you could always figure out a way to mount it inside the door (between the skins) - you need to be sure you stay away from the window however, easy to be fooled when it's in the "up" position! (possibly close to front of the door might work)
Installing it under or behind the seats means you have to run two sets of speaker wires (for the mid-range & tweeter) from there to the doors - a better option, if you can't fit it within the door structure, might be to locate it under the dash on each side just inside the bulkhead.
