Just purchased main relay "RY340T" from "pautoparts" on ebay. Listing says it is good for 1994+, works great on my 1993. Cost is $20.53 +$1.69 tax=$22.22. I have no affiliation with seller, just wanted to let others know. I carry this in my glove compartment with a 10 mm wrench.

Just bought one. Cheap insurance I guess.

Have you actually installed this? Put in 92 model and it said not compatible?

"Standard" products have been around as long as I can remember. Although I am an OEM person, Standard has a very good reputation.

I bought this part as a spare. I did install it on my 1993 and it works. Nothing worse than breaking down and having a part that doesn't work. The listing states it is for 1994+. I think the oem part number is the same for 1993 and 1994 (that's why I took a chance and bought it). I wanted to make sure it worked before I let others know about this. You can check the oem numbers to see if it will work for 91-92.

Fact is all the main relays are identical electrically. In 1995 they changed the metal bracket on the relay since they moved it into the passenger side panel on the right rear side of the passenger seat. Soon they will discontinue the early ones from Acura, so you can get the newer one and change the bracket. But..... based on this thread, this could be the best game in town;).

Larry, so 91 to 94 use the same main relay?

Thanks for the info.

Just ordered one. $20 comparing to $70 for OEM. That's a great deal. Hopefully they are not 'rejected' merchandise.
