Actually with the riots in Europe, now this, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunami's, tornado's in Indiana, train bombings etc etc etc, I think the world is coming to an end!

I'm a good guy... maybe they thought the brake kit Nico bought back from the USA was a bomb kit.

The Police were doing their job. They arrested some muslim dudes that were 'allegedly' plotting to make bombs similiar to those used in London. Details are sketchy. Of course the Muslim community is now complaining that they are being unfairly targetted and prejudiced against, too scared to leave their homes, the usual stuff they complain about every time something like this happens. But there's no way the police are going to make arrests without solid evidence - the risk of false arrests and a racial violence of "NSX-Prime-Flame-War-Proportions" is just too high.

I just thank God they were caught before an attack, rather than after.

Glad all is well. Yes, much better to prevent a tragedy than wait for one to happen and react.

Prevention is better than a cure. true. But muslims see this, the pre-emptive strike on Iraq, and everything else as "us vs. them".


BTW, anyone reading this, i am not anti-muslim so don't read anything into my posts. I just get tired of how they get uptight prematurely and make religion a central issue when it's not. If the alleged terrorists had been Buddist or Hindu, the police would have raided them exactly the same way. <B>Terrorists are terrorists regardless of religion.</B>

Anyway, i'm also tired of war on terror, racial and religious flaming on the Prime forums... last thing i need to do is start posting about them myself. Say, aren't we overdue for a "how much do you pay for insurance" thread?
