In Snap Ring Range

Hello,
I am looking at purchasing my first NSX here soon. How can I tell if the car is in the Snap Ring range? The VIN number for the vehicle is: JH4NA1150MT001252.

Is there a way for me to check?

LITFFAQ.

1. Click on the word FAQ in the red bar at the top of your screen, the one that looks like this:

2. Click on "Troubleshooting".

3. Click on "Transmission (incl. Snap Ring)".

4. Read the paragraph under the heading "Which Cars Are Affected?".

P.S. A car with that VIN did not have a snap ring transmission when it left the factory. As long as it still has the original transmission, it is not in the snap ring range.
