Does anyone here have a TV in thier car? If so, please give me some ideas as to where you mounted it. It seems impossible to do.

Thanks in advance,
Jorge

The "easy" way to do it is replace the factory stereo with one of the flip-up LCD models and you can run TV/VCR/CD/DVD to it.

I saw the web page, but I have a few questions. First, does that console eliminate the air vents (I couldn't tell)? Second, how much does it cost? Finally, can I get the console by itself without the navigation system (I don't mind if I have to buy the screen but I don't care for the navigation system itself), if so how much would it be?

Jeez!

Chris surely has a nice product, but reminds me of the last time I was at a Porsche dealer waiting for delivery:

A real pretty boy walks into the showroom with this really pretty girl (south beach Barbie & Ken) and the guy sits in the C2 I am buying... walks out all upset muttering in spanish that there is no way he could drive such a car while doing anything else, that driving that thing would be a full time job!

I could only laugh.

Now Jorge, tell me again as to why you need a TV in your NSX?

how much is your navagation system chris? and is it available with just the console?

No, it's not:

Hi Chris,

That looks like a great product, but I am not sure I see how it is easier to get it all set up with a video feed than simply replacing the OEM head unit..? Anyway, I'd love to hear all the details as soon as you are ready to post them. It looks very cool!

Also, I realize it wasn't part of the original question, but replacing the OEM head unit is also a great time to go ahead and replace the POS Bose speaker/amp boxes as well while you have the stereo pulled. The Bose system is an insult to the car IMO! Sorry to go on a rant, the Bose stuff is a pet peeve of mine..

Anyway, everyone please post follow-ups on this product to the Vendor Support forum, thanks!

Hi Lud --

Replacing the head unit is difficult and expensive. It takes a skilled installer to cut into the dash and make it look decent.

You may use an external monitor and A/V unit, like the Apline TME-M750A, to display any video source you may have. You can then use the speaker included with the display, or patch into the stock stereo head through the cd-changer input.

I agree, Bose stinks, I'm battling with my door speakers as we speak (although found a shop that does the repair work for only $70).

My video system has been very difficult to 'bring to market' as it uses the video pod used on Japanese NSX with the GPS option. They are in very low supply. I may end up building my own bracket. I'll have follow up info posted to this site under the vendor section as well as on my site.

Regards,
-- Chris

Difficult, but not impossible. Have a look. Lots of time/paint/fiberglass/bondo invested though. But well worth it
