Well, my dealer came through and got my Accord coupe 6-speed sooner than expected. Great car all-in-all. Interior is the nicest I've experienced in a Honda-badged product. Cabin is very quiet,
great-looking guages, heated seats, nice S2000 shifter, tasteful
faux carbon-fiber trim, awesome factory stereo. This car is much faster than my old Accord. Easy to break the tires loose in first and second gears. Great intake growl at V-tec and beyond. Have to be alert as the rev limiter will sneak up on you quickly!
Motor feels much torquier than the S2000 or the old Accord, almost NSX-ish. Handling is very good for a front driver, not much understeer or plowing, moderate body roll. The 17-inch wheels are quite attractive but I wish they were slightly wider.
Plan to upgrade to a slightly more aggressive 225 tire (stock=215/
50/17). Also would like to see the car lowered about 1.5". I suspect this car will run 0-60 in the mid 6's quite easily.
