Obviously, my choices are more limited up here in Canuckland... and American NSXs are cheaper. Any idea what the hassle is to import an early 90s NSX up here would be? I checked Canada Customs' website, but it's all gibberish and government talk on that.

Any advice/tips would be appreciated.

OK once you found the nsx your looking for, your first step is to GET the recall clearance letter for that specific nsx. Get that first then ill tell you the rest. Its the most important because you can not get it once you bought the car and intend to bring it to Canada, and you wont be able to plate the car without it.

Check here for a thread we had going in Sept/Oct about importing a car. I provided a detailed list of what you need to do, the pitfalls, issues and how to go about it.

PS - The recall clearance letter is no big deal, it can come from any Acura Dealer and you can get it any any time prior to the RIV inspection, which happens about two weeks after you bring the car accross the boarder.

I'm in Edmonton as well. I just brought one up in June this year, so you're welcome to call me and I may be able to help you jump through the hoops.

If you're interested in a red/tan '01, that's what I brought up here.

Don't forget to check out the Registars of Imported Vehicles website www.riv.ca
