It's horrible....total devastation...people living in coastal areas needs to keep in mind what can happen in case this type of earthquake strikes again somehere arround the world.... would you believe it reached the coastal towns of somalia some 3000 miles away....

there was a show on this on the Discovery channel last night. It was talking about one of the Hawaiian island had a fault line that would eventually give and a HUGE section would fall into the ocean. The resulting wave is predicted to be 500+ ft and completly obliterate the western coast of the USA and also Australia. Anyone here from Hawaii know about this fault line? Sorry but I dont remember the island.

how far out would you say the receding water went in I think the 2nd or 3rd pic? It looks like over a city block maybe?
