Yup, yup, yup!

That's right, I'm getting a new for me car.

See if you can guess what it is... Here are some hints...

While so far getting my brand new daughter into her car seat in the CL Type S has been pretty painless, I suspect it'll get much harder when she grows out of the carrier thingy, so your first hint is that it has more than 2 doors.

You can assume that since I have a CL Type S and the NSX, I like power. So your next hint is that its fast. In fact, its faster than both of the other cars.

Also, if you know me, you know I like toys and this one has a bunch... DVD nav (can even play DVD movies), 6 disc Bose in-dash changer, it also has a tire pressure monitor and a bunch of other cool stuff.

Let's see how you do with these and if you need more, I'll continue adding hints...

Another good guess... however, it's much faster.

Here's another hint... It went to finishing school at Nurburgring and its certainly the only car from this manufacturer to have done so!

Another good guess and honestly not quite that much $$.

Also, it's more powerful than a 750, but not as powerful as the 760. Fair bit faster than both!

You got it ncdogdoc! Great job!

Here's a pic of one virtually identical to the one I'm getting...

that was fun.. do another!! haha.. j/k

(although I didn't play i still think it was fun).... like that one game where the guy posted up pics of just pieces of cars and people had to guess at it..

;)

Not intending to buy any more cars after this one for a bit! Now I'll have a fun decision to make... which car to bring to the next track event! ;)

the last few CTS-V's that I encountered on the track had weird issues.

BOTH of them cut off randomly at VIR. When I asked them about it they said that the car has a failsafe of some sort where if the car gets too hot, it'll shut itself down.

From what I recall.. that's not a healthy thing to do at a track. Something you may want to look into if you decide to track it...

I think that this is a fixable issue through a TSB, not 100% on that though. Thanks for the heads up on it, now I know to look into it!

That's the standard package... Should be a blast to drive. Can't wait to hear the roar of the V8.

Michael,
A year ago you worked me over to buy that great looking NSX, asking me to have pity 'cause your wife had a spending limit established and now this! Good for you. When you were in Tulsa last year this time picking up the NSX, we were talking about four door sports cars and you mentioned that your dad had the CTS-V and loved it and suggested that's what I should get. Well, as you know, I tried to no avail to buy the NSX back from you during the holidays and so I had to go get a replacement. Are you buying your dad's CTS-V or a new one?

Hey there Smart A$$!

It is my dad's.... He's got some issues with his arm/shoulder and shifting causes some pain, so he wants to get rid of it. I got special dad financing... ;)

One week before we learned that my wife was pregnant, I bought the CL-S and it's a great car, but it's just not going to work that well as a baby hauler, so the timing was good.

By the way, my wife has some serious heartburn over my latest acquisition (well, I haven't acquired it yet... Pop's gotta get himself a replacement car before I can take the V off his hands!).

For your own piece of mind, I am continuing the tradition and my obligation to keep copious records of the maintenance of the NSX in that little bound journal you gave me. It is, and will remain, in impeccable condition!
