I'm doing my best to defend our honor guys . . .

Thanks for the link, and it's always nice to hear from an ex-NSX owner

That kind of elitism/negativity is exactly why I love the NSX community. Rarely will you find people putting down other cars/owners here. Just a bunch of enthusiasts having fun and sharing a common interest in performance cars--NSX and non-NSX alike.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I see a lot of good things being said by people, including you, about the NSX. And even if they didn't like it, that's ok by me.

The folks on that board seem pretty reasonable. Hey, not everybody likes the NSX, just like not everybody likes a $70,000 "sports" sedan that weighs over 4000 lbs. Good luck to the guy who thinks he can get a 911TT for the same money as an NSX though... hah.

It's truly sad that the NSX gets no respect from people who are in *no* position to evaluate its worthiness.

Some of these people are not true car enthusiasts. They are simple-minded bigots. As such, they only focus on one parameter, the hp / price ratio, to lay judgement on a particular car.

It's their loss.

Thanks for the compliments, I have sure been enjoying the M5 . . . what a blast car enthusiasm is!!! Anyhow, Fester is right, the story is much less that I let the car go, than the car let go of the asphalt . . . The avatar tells the story, but not the entire story. For that, I will leave to lunch discussions in a much less public forum.

I have been enjoying reading your comments to the thread listed above. As always, everyone has been polite and without emotion . . . which BTW in this occasion is actually a good thing. When I first posted the thread here I didn't expect folks to register and post, as I think it looks like ballot stuffing when 10+ "junior members (<10 posts)" start posting how much they love the car. It just isn't as credible, but what I have seen represents our interests well. For the most part, the forum is quite civilized, but there must be a reason I keep coming back here.

Happy Thanksgiving and shiney sides up.

Kevin

They seem pretty civilized over there. Much more so than some of the other forums at least. The M5 is a sweet sweet car. One of my favorites. Still turns my head everytime I see one. =) My friend's bf had one for awhile... prior to selling it for a P gt2. hehe

Tiger, you crack me up!

However, in real life, there is no similarity. 3000GT when compared to NSX looks like a truck.

Just the other day I was telling my brother--after driving in my Stealth and Mustang--how those cars feel like SUVs compared to being in the NSX.
