The W is nice, and has a great bar up on/near the top floor. Sorry, not familiar with the other one.

The first thing you should do is contact some of us to arrange a drive while you're here. The Marin County drive is a great one. The second thing you should do (or not so) is not call it San Fran. That is really irritating to natives.
As far as the accommodations, you can't go wrong with either from what I understand, but I've never stayed in them. I live here, I don't have to. :wink:

The Intercontinental is great...fantastic bar at the top overlooking the city too. you can't go wrong with either. :biggrin:
Ken makes two good points. First, "San Fran" or "Frisco" will often get you a, "Oh, was your father in the Navy here?" And secondly, you'll do well with either hotel.
Whoa, I had no idea it was that big of a deal :biggrin: Anyways, I'll be at the Intercontinental Nov 3-9.
Intercontinental is good. It's in the SOMA (South Of Market) district. You'll enjoy it. You'll also be across the street from The Chieftan Irish Pub, where they have "20 of the Worlds finest beers on tap, including an outstanding 20oz "Perfect Pint" of Guinness!"

Once you arrive and get settled in, please contact one of us. (Or before you arrive is you know your complete schedule.) If you have the time for a drive we'll give you a treat -- at least reserve time for a get-together.

For sure, Im not sure if I'll have time to do a drive but we can 100% have a get together for dinner/drinks. Maybe WED night. I'll be coming with my GF, and we both have a few friends/family members in SF. My cousin lives on King St, by the ballpark.
Yeah, it's always great to meet fellow Prime members. Hope we have an opportunity to match names with faces.

What I learned through the years here is that San Francisco is commonly called "The City".

Oh and I'm told October 11th is "Decompression". It is supposed to be like a Burning Man after party here in San Francisco.

keep in mind that the giant's just won the world series and tomorrow is the big parade - should be an exciting time in the city~ (and, yep, we do call it The City)
