When I read this article on yahoo news last nite, it reminded me of the Roman practice of oiling-up pigs and setting them ablaze in battle when confronted by elephants (Hannibal) or other hooved animals that the opposing army may have had... to create disruption and wreak havoc amongst the cavalry formations! {well, there were instances in which the swine didn't exactly run towards their intended targets} :tongue:
