There is a funny rattley noise ; kinda fan-like, too, i suppose, that continuously is making noise inside my console. If I put my thumb over the little vents in the console by the front of the E-brake, it muffles the sound. ANY SUGGESTIONS??????

Go to the NSX FAQ by clicking on the word FAQ in the red bar at the top of your screen (next to where it says Support NSXprime). Then click on Troubleshooting, then click on "What's that NOISE?" Then scroll down to where it says "What's That Buzzing Sound From The Console?".
The solution would be the simple auto-critter removal spell. Proceed with caution, but exactly as I set forth the spell to be carried out. First, you will need the following:
1 -One can of beer. Seems to work best with Old Milwakee or Shlitz.
2 - One pair dirty mans underwear. If a pair with a bacon strip is available, use those.
While sitting in car, place bacon stripped garment over head, inside out. Chug Schlitz while repeating the following: "Oh most noble and honorable Troll Patroller, I humbly beseech thee, to lower the bonds of your kingdom, so low, that even I, a lowly and unworthy NSX owner might be granted your exulted presence and assistance in the removal of the infested auto-critter troll.”
If that doesn't work, repeat again, but this time have a friend video tape the entire procedure. Then post the video here for further analysis.
Cleaning the fan should solve your problem. If you've never taken your console out, give me a call and Ill be glad to give you a hand. PM me for contact info.
Not really unless you actually like having a working climate control. Really though, it is extremely easy to take out your center console and inspect it yourself and/or clean it to put it back in. That's your internal temperature sensor for the climate control so don't just disconnect it. You could always buy a brand new one and I think they run about $180. (If I remember correctly)
Clean it, lube it and carefully adjust: perfect results. I've done it to two different cars. I'm down to about 5-10 minutes onces the console comes out.
Maybe I should start a core return program that fixes these things....it is really simple.
