The reason I ask is that where I live there is a big ass incline to get in the parking garage and I need to see if I am going to rub. Also how hard is that going to be on the clutch? being that I might have to slip it some getting in and out.. ???
The actual measurement is not as important as how sharp of an angle you can approach the entrance. If you have eough room to hit the ramp at 45 degree angle or less, you would be amazed at how much slope the car can handle.
Well the angle isnt going to be great. the ramp is only big enough for one car. I cannot get a 45 degree angle out of it. I would say I have about 5-7 feet on each side before the wall. maybe i can take a digital pic tonight and post it..
Post that pic if you can, it will help to have a look. With 5-7 feet you might have enough room to get the angle. The chin spoiler (black lower lip) is pretty flexible and if you can go slowly you won't get too much of a scratch on the rub. The chin spoiler is made for this anyway. It is also an affordable and easy part to replace on the NSX. Good luck
The horizontal distance from the center of the chin spoiler to the center of the front wheels is about 36 inches. That's roughly how far you'll need to travel forward while maintaining clearance of the chin spoiler, before the tires reach the point where they start lifting the nose of the car up.
