I meet Mario Andretti

Hello everyone,

I was down on the Las Vegas strip at the Venetian tonight with some of my medical school classmates. I saw Mario Andretti and his wife shopping and thought it would be great to meet him. I aksed it if was ok for a picture and he said sure. He was very cool about it and at the same time I did not want to bother him and his wife. Here's the pic.

Afterwards I couldn't stop from shaking. I was so excited. I thought I would share a small part of my night with you guys.

Thats so cool.....if he was next to me in line I dont think I would recognize him unless someone pointed him out. The only famous people i usaually recognize are porn stars....lol

I met him at Road America a few times. One time as I was driving through the Paddock he was coming at me in his little pit scooter and gave me a big thumbs up I was in my NSX.

Newbie Question

Can i ask a newbie question? I've been around this forum for a while, and I've seen lots of stuff about Mario Andretti, but i don't understand his association with the NSX? Could somebody explain it to me?

or wait... please don't tell me it's in the FAQ! Newbie attack!

Actually, that was someone shopping. Both her and the girl working the cash register thought I was crazy and at the same time they did not have a clue who he was.

I'm assuming it was his wife. It could have been a relative or a friend to be fair but I like the humor
