I just got this email and I am so excited I could pee my pants!!! Also, please don't use my winning numbers or call and pretend you are me and claim my winnings! I copied it below, for those who are in disbelief. Ok, I need to take a break and relax, as this is very overwhelming! Oh, don't tell me I didn't win either, cause they said I did and everything I get in emails, I believe. I am a winner

Attention: Sir/Madam,

RE: WINNINGS/PRIZE CLAIM NOTIFICATION

We are pleased to inform you of the official announcement yesterday of
winners of the 2004 Swiss International Lottery Program, held on the
21st of August 2004.
You or your company, attached to ticket number 318-776-2810, with serial
number 420-509 drew the lucky numbers 2-14-17-21-35-36-18, and
consequently won the lottery in the International category.

You have therefore been approved for a lump sum pay out of EUR
1,200,000.00 (One million, two hundred thousand Euros), in Cash.

This is from total prize money of EUR 30,000,000.00 shared among 25
winners in this category. All participants were selected through a
computer balloting system drawn from over 85,000 companies and
individuals from the MIDDLE EAST, ASIA, AFRICA, EUROPE, NORTH AMERICA,
SOUTH AMERICA and OCEANIA as part our International promotions program,
which is conducted bi-annually.
The lottery programme was sponsored by a conglomerate of multinational
companies in Europe as part of their social responsibility to the
citizens of the communities where they have operational base.
Congratulations!

Due to the mix up of some numbers and names, we ask that you keep this
award strictly from public notice until your claim has been processed
and your money remitted to your account. This is part of our security
protocol to avoid double claiming or unscrupulous acts by participants
of this program. We hope with a part of your prize money, you will
participate in our end of year high stakes of EUR 58 MILLION slot in
December 2004.

For the immediate processing and collection of your prize money, Please
contact today our Claim's Agent.

John,
let me remind you that at NSXPO2003, after a few drinks, you told me you would give your NSX to me as a gift if you win the lottery. So please send me the title and I will arrange to have the car picked up.

The Swiss lottery must not be as high brow as I would have thought. Here are a couple more of their e-mail addresses:

Interestingly, Marylyn has a sister, Suzanne, who works for the Netherlands lottery:

Gosh, look at that, a big company like JCB and they have to use a free e-mail service too!

These things are funny - so long as no one is ripped off for a part of their life savings.

For my part, I say take them out back and XXXX them until they are no longer interested in ripping people off. The police can't hit them hard enough with criminal penalties in my opinion. Prison for 10 years minimum ay hard labor, breaking rocks, digging ditches, whatever.

Believe me, somoene will fall victim to these people.

I just got an email from a lawyer stating that he was reprsenting my family in a foreign coutry that just died in a car accident....3yrs later they finally have the estate settled and I"m getting $1.2mil. I just have to call and leave my SSN # and bank #'s so they can make sure the money gets put in the right account !!! YIPEE
I'm going to have the FX500 afterall. :D
