I just spent $275 on an Autobrit 1/43 replica.

After begging Carlotta for this for Christmas and being firmly rejected...
It was too pretty to pass on but damn that put a dent in my wallet for a 1/43 this was pricey for sure.
Production was limited to 150 but I think they should have made 483 of them just like the real thing.

LOL I know! I can't believe I missed out on the group buy!
DOH!
Oh well, once it arrives and I'm drooling over it I'm sure I'll forget really fast about the extra $100 I spent.

Hey there

thats a pretty nice looking model you got there ...for sure it was expensive but would go great as a display...definitely put up some pics of your car next season or when you put on those na1 R wheels on....care to share how much you spent on those na1 r wheels? cant be cheap but would look awesome on your white nsx..no doubt...

the only think i wish they would have done for that particular model was try to make the wheels proportionate to the actual nsx r ..but with all nsx models the wheels are never proportionate

ill definitely have to take some pics of my nsx memorabilia collection when i have the time....years of nsx item collecting has my wife going nuts as well...but ultimately she understands and just doesnt bother me as much about my many nsx toys lol

How many km's have you put on your NSX since you bought it? Start saving for rear tires!!!

2200 kms which for me is pretty substantial considering that I put about 700 kms on my Integra R each year. Going to go with RE11's for the Spring.

Okay! I have a nice collection of die casts as well. Mostly Integra's but I have some NSX pieces and S2k pieces too. I'll take some pics when I have a sec and we'll compare notes. I was checking out a thread on here a while back where others were showing theirs. I think it was in the photo forums. Some people have some amazing collections.

About the NA1 wheels. I spent a lot. Too much really because of the shipping costs involved, and they still need some restoration work done. The seller is an awesome person. Great guy. Thing is. It's one of those purchases you just can't say no to and you have to do the deal when the opportunity presents itself. Everything about my NSX has been that way, now that I think about it. I'm normally not a reckless spender and am pretty conservative when it comes to saving. I'll make up for the splurging by tightening up after Christmas. You only live once. :)
