Just picked up a 38K mile GP White 92 from a good guy/member in the Detroit area. What an amazing car. Similar story to alot of you, long time Porsche owner and was ready for something different. I had no idea it would be this sweet!!

Can anyone recomend a dealer in Northern VA for state inspection and emissions?

Thanks Dave!

Your welcome Alex. It was a great pleasure to have met you. You have a great car to enjoy. I really enjoyed the time that I had with it and agree others here that even though it's a bit long in tooth it is still an outstanding performer!

Keep her clean. I hate a dirty car!

Dave

Sorry so late but thanks for the good wishes everyone. And thanks Chris for the recomendation. Ill give them a call. Do they specialize in NSX?

BTW, were you running your car at Summit Point several weeks ago in a NASA event?

Thanks Dave!

Id suggest either Radly Acura or Pohanka Acura- both qualified NSX specialists
Its just a suggestion as I have no experience directly.

Actualy Pohanka did the PPI for my 94', no major mechanical misses - yet, but they didn't say anything about my driver side window not working properly, the trunk support rod failing...

Congrats and welcome aboard to ownership..take a puff of this GFCP
Remember to post some pics when possible.

The use to take my NSX to Radey Acura, But if you are not careful they will add addition things to fix, the bill always show different prices from service to service on regular oil change. But the customer service was very good.

I had them replace a clutch and valve adjustment for $4700.00 on my first NSX, when I didn't know better.

This is my third NSX and I am happy with the Car Doctor.

Congrats !!! Now change your Prime username !!!

Congrats. I took my car to Pohanka Acura for inspection and they did it for free(for some reason...). HOpe to see you at a meet sometimes.

Pohanka Acura discovered a cracked CV boot in my inspection. I asked them to repair it. During the repair, they broke the rear brake line, tried to tell me that the brake line was broken when I brought it in (the tech eventually owned up to breaking it), and attempted to make me pay for the brake line repair. Because the car was not driveable after they broke the brake line, and they broke it on a Sunday, they caused me an extra trip from SOUTH CAROLINA to pick up the car. I would never let them touch my car again, and I recommend that you not take your car to them either.

That sucks. They actually did my TB/WP and the car came out fine so I guess I was lucky. I got my CV boot done at Radley and not only did they take 2 days to do it, i suspect that they damaged my axle while doing so. These days I do most of the work that is not too comlicated because I can't trust anyone around here to do a good job. Either way, for simple state inspection, dealer can't mess it up. If you are in SC, you shoulda just gone to Barnman.
