Ferrari F40. Well, I knew I had no chance in being any threat to him whatsoever, but it was fun running with him anyway. The sound of the twin turbos spooling up on the highway was incredible. I kept a safe three car lengths behind him and when he opened it up my mouth just dropped open. WOW! I've driven many exotics and I was given a ride by the Lamborghini factory test driver in a new VT while at the factory, but this F40 just screamed. This was just the thing I needed to get my blood pumped up for this weekend's South FL NSX event at Sebring. Now if only FedEx would get my slicks here already!!

wow. when I saw the heading of the message thread, I thought "not another C5 story", but no shame in losing to an F40......
What do F-40's run in the 1/4 mile? What's the engine setup? Speaking of your butt handed to you, and corvettes, I handed C-5 it's butt last night, not match!

I had a similar experience outside of Paris. I was in a traffic jam because the taxi drivers were on strike. Next to me is this F40 with a little kid bouncing around. The drive could tell I was just checking it out. So when the jam cleared he rolled down the window and waved. A milli-second later he stood on it. Man what a sound!
