I know someone who put a coat onto their rotors cause they don't like the rusting of the rotors hub. He said, the pads will eat the material on the rotor surface anyway after few miles. I can't help but shake my head.

Anyone who performs this modification to their vehicle should have their driver's llicense taken away!!!
What a waste of paint, must smell great when it burns off.

i was told the same thing (paint on the rotors not the calipers), but you at least attempt to mask them first!
