Hi

I understand the CD changer was an option for early model NSX's and was "pre wired" from the factory. How was it installed? Did the dealer have to drill into the body work or was it pre fabed from the factory?i.e brackets. Or am I way off on how it was mounted? I have never seen a car with this option.

Thanks
John

As I recall when I did this over a decade ago, everything is already in the car...the cable is hidden behind the left front side of the trunk liner, the threaded mounting holes for the bracket are behind the far right trunk liner. I installed a changer myself, was pretty easy. Hand-tools only. You also need the flip-down bracket, too, not just the changer deck itself. And, you can use an Alpine deck, with an inexpensive plug-in conversion cable, if you don't want to use an expensive "official" Acura deck.
Most likely the complete instructions are avaiable on-line if you wanna see what you're up against.
