..i connect to ftp site...and my IE saved the Userid and pword..no I don't remember what they are..is there way to dig it up...from internet cached ??

Here is the standard URL format for connecting to FTP sites:
ftp://user
assword@host
ort/path
For example, say your user name is 'Matt', your password is 'NSX91', and the ftp server is 'www.exampleurl.com', you would type the following in your browser's address bar:
ftp://Matt:[email protected]
