Since I am stripping my car completely, I also need to get the complete wire harness out.
However, I am stuck with a bit of a problem there.

For instance, when I want to remove the wire harness running along the drivers drivers side of the cabin, it goes through the firewall and is then connected to the main fusebox in the engine bay. Naturally, this fusebox is too big to fit through the hole the wire harness it routed through, so I need to disconnect it from the fuse box. However, I don't see any clear indication how these parts are connected.
Same goes for the other side of this wire harness where it is connected under the dashboard.

Should I first remove some of the tape insulation to get to some kind of connector before being able to release it (or them).

I really don't want to cut any wires of course. Seems that the wire harness itself should be worth something.

ever find the answer?
