Greetings,

I recently purchased a replacement gasket for the front bumper on my '92 NSX. This is the long gasket between the top portion of the front bumper and the hood. The old gasket has been removed but I haven't found any instruction via the service manual on installation of the new gasket into the retainer. Does anyone provide a quick tutorial? Does installation require removal of the front bumper?

put front of car on 2 jackstands, take wheels off or turn them so you can access the fender bolts do one side then turn wheel other way to get the other side, unbolt the bumper beams 3 bolts each side. 2 bolts each fender, one bolt each side for the lower bumper, then 3 push clips under the battery tray, then remove the turn signals one philps screw from the bottom, then unplug the parking lights the front bumper slide off. then unplug both horns, then unplug windsheild wiper fluid motor, have every thing then slide the front bumper off, then finally unplug the washer fluid line and put your finger over the nozzle hole so the fluid will not drain onto the floor. put bumper on the ground

then the rubber strip has about 10 8mm nuts that need to come off. take off. slide new rubber into the upper alum. the bolts the 8mm nuts came off of will fall out if you dont keep it vertical.
reinstall back onto upper bumper put bumper back on

Shawn,

Thanks for the detailed post! I was able to get the seal mounted this evening and your pointers helped a ton.
