How to install a shift light? (raptor)

I'm trying to install a raptor performance shift light http://www.raptorperformance.com/

does anyone know how to install a shift light? my guys are trying to find out but with no luck.

According to Raptor's web site you pick up the signal from the tach connection in the engine bay. Looks very stright forward to me.

LOL - they're on that block thing with the terminals & cables that sits behind behind your spare wheel! :biggrin:

Seriously, ground is any physical chassis point & the power can come from a number of sources - the battery, the fuse panel in the engine bay or perhaps most conveniently the fuse panel under the dash - that has switched power for ignition & accessory as well constant battery power & convenient spade terminal taps at the top to clip onto.

This might have been an alternative consideration

Where are you mounting controller? There are a few different locations you can tap off for the rpm also
