How to get in @ CB Richard Ellis

I've been in the mortgage business for a couple years now, and being 21 yrs old, i want to take my career my to next level. I'd like to get in with a commericial real estate firm like CBRE or Perry Van Ness. Does anyone here work for these firms, or any firms that deal with commercial real estate. What qualifications do i need to get my foot in the door. I've been very successful in the mortgage business, and I'm currently working on real estate sales person/broker license. Are you looking at selling commercial real estate? I've heard it's pretty tough to get started in that. Meaning, have money put aside to live on as it takes quite awhile to close a commercial real estate transaction. Sometimes a year or more. Obviously you don't get paid until it closes.
