How much to pay for an OEM Bose head unit?

My '95 came with an OEM stereo whose buttons are all dinged up (by rings, probably). I've tried to replace them through Acura, but the parts have been superseded by the new charcoal-gray buttons, and I need black to match the rest of the console.

So I figured I'd try ebay, and there's a guy who says he'll sell me the head unit from a '95 (no speakers) for $175. I don't know if that's a decent price, though.

Anyone know? I think the auction ends tonight, so any timely responses would be appreciated...

I thought the original head unit was close to $2,000. I know it was a lot... but i could be wrong.. have you looked in the FAQ?

I purchased one off of here out of a '92 for $100. Didn't use it and resold it here for the same price. $175 seems fair to me but I guess it's all relative. If you're just getting it for the buttons hold off about a week and I'll give you a good deal on one out of my '91. Going aftermarket this weekend. I'd have to verify the quality of my buttons with you first.
