How Much Do you think to fix this?

That car isn't too far from me, I go by ecocar every once in a while to see if they have any good deals. I'll run by there in the morning if I can and take a look at it!

the fact that the roof is messed up makes me think big money $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!

The car is in NYC @ www.erzcars.com and I'm sure the guy will let it go for $19K but it si a big shot in front if you look at the other pictures from his website. It is a BIG job.

forget it
the car wont pass safety
and for what its worth....you dont want the headache...you can spend 5000 or 3000 more and be better off than that
so why spend 10000 to fix it....at least

A proper fix on that will be so expensive, that for the fix alone you can buy a good NSX of that year.

You will not just be replacing all of the body panels on the front end, and roof. You would need to replace all of the doo dads behind the front bumper as well as gulp....the AC which is $$$.

Hopefully a body shop expert with a great deal of spare NSX parts laying around will purchase it for himself and do a tip top job of restoring this beautiful 2000 to its original condition. For us regular folks who lack said skill...buy a nice one.

QUICK !!!

Someone close by Hollywood, FL make a note and verify the VIN# on THAT car. Maybe CmputerWiz can do it?! Then we can put it on the list of "wrecked NSX" immediately.

Because undoubtedly, being that it's in Florida, it will be fixed and back out on the market with a CLEAN b.s. title.

This way, if we know the VIN# ahead of time and someone comes along in the forum asking if anyone know the history of this vehicle, we would know.

Also, if someone can save a picture of this autotrader ad with the wrecked picture, we can bring it up to potential buyers as well!

Well done, Joel. That's the kind of information (and participation) that makes this forum invaluable. :)

More than the difference between what they're selling the car for, and what the car would be worth after it's fixed. (Otherwise, they would fix it before selling it.)

Which should tell you something about whether it's worth fixing...
