How much do NSX-R wheels weigh?

Yes did a search and couldn't find anything? I believe Vancehu said they're 2lbs lighter than stock ,but I can't find 02+ OEM wheel weight either!

Anyone?

I have both the NA2-R wheels and 05 OEM wheels. I weighed them (with identical tires and thread wear).

The type-r's were definitely lighter- If I remember correctly they were about ~2lbs lighter.

Yep - ~2 lbs. per wheel is right.

Here are some weights (in lbs.), according to Dali Racing and ProCar Specials:

2002-2005 stock 17/17
F: 17.35
R: 20.0
total: 74.7

NA2 NSX-R
F: 15.75
R: 17.55
total: 66.6

savings: 8.1 lbs.

Myth busted? I just weighed our NSX-R wheels and they're heavy.

Just weighed a brand new set
Front: 7.8kg (17.16 lbs)
Rear: 9.9kg (21.78 lbs)
