How much did you pay for your '02 rear valence?

Different states, and even within states. Any dealership can charge whatever it wants. Just as some dealers give discounts to members of the NSX Club of America and others don't.

Call Niello acura in sacramento, ca tell them you are an nsxca member and u will get 30 percent off discount and the total price was around 560 with tax. It might be worth it to buy it from them and have it shipped, or see if there is a acura dealership that will honor the membership

Awesome!! I'll give them a call tomorrow. Thanx for the info.

I guess it's hard to find a dealer in Mass who'll give the same price.

.....assuming you are a member. they will ask for your membership # for verification.
If you're not already, join - many other benefits besides the vendor discounts.

Where to buy dealer parts

Hey, how short is everyone's memory? The fine people at Goodson Acura in Dallas, TX - sponsor of the 2002 NSXPO event - have the 02 rear bunper skirt for $550. These people, Susan Tabelman included, busted hump for all of us and now you run off to some "other" dealer for parts? Frankly, I'm shocked.

That's a great deal... the more "options" the better.

Sounds like Goodson and Niello both offer competitive deals -- now might be a question of "other factors" (dealer location, shipping cost, etc). In all, that's good news for us owners.

Is there a "package deal" for the 02-rear-valance, including the additional parts (brackets, etc) ?? I'll probably not do the tail-lights and trunklid spoiler just yet, but am sure others might be considering these.

I can personally speak on behalf of Goodson Acura. I no longer live down there and while I dont own an NSX yet, I bought 2 Integra GSR's from Jeff Vonvei with Susan being my service representative and they will treat their customers like absolute gold.

I purchased bottom line Acura's "by definition" and was treated as if I purchased an NSX with cash. Susan Tableman is a wonderful service representative.

And she's also a member of NSXprime. She reads and sometimes even posts.

Nice person and excellent at what she does. Great lady.

Yooooooooo! or should I say Yao!!!

Let's do some homework before we post such comments.

I will accept everyone's praises re Goodson Acura and how great Susan is; in fact, the two or three occasions I have had e-mail exchanges with her she has been great.

But, for the record, and since some of us live in Sacramento, Niello Acura has been a sponsor of the Sacramento Chapter of the NSX Club of America since 2000, and they have not only donated numerous freebies, gift irtems, raffle items, outright cash subsidy, but also underwrite our annual NSX exclusive high performance driving event every year since 2000 at Thunderhill Raceway Park, drawing more than 40 NSXs every time.

And you don't need to take my word for it, it's all on their web:

http://acura.niello.com/thunderhill

And in 2001, they were the number 1 new NSX sales leader in the country. Last year they were the second. And they still offer the lowest prices on parts at 30% off. You can compare the discount offfered by other dealers/vendors at:

http://www.nsxca.org/nsxca/parts/vendordiscounts.html

And even more importantly, this year Niello Acura will be a sponsor of NSXPO 2003 at Infineon Raceway.

So rather than claim Niello Acura is "some 'other' dealer" let us welcome ALL dealers who want to participate and offer good value to all to the NSX community.

And if you want to be a sponsor or know of any vendor/dealer who wants to be one for NSXPO 2003, drop me an e-mail so that we can treat you/them with open arms as well ..........

Now if that isn't a case of left-coast bigotry I don't know what is! You looked at your taxes out there recently? Shipping would be less from the moon comparatively. Buy from the Heartland!

My post was a bit of a spoof, so I'm glad to see no one took it seriously. Good dealers are hard to find - but luckily we have a few to choose from.

Bye bye and buy bonds!

Thanks everyone for sharing your info!!

After reading all your posts, it seemed obvious the search for low price NSX parts has narrowed downed to Goodson and Niello Acura. Therefore, I just went with what my heart tells me and called up Goodson Acura.

I spoke to Susan Tabelman and god, was she nice to me. I'm sorry if I'm exaggerating here but her service and sincerity are both A+. Not to mention it was over the phone and we haven't met in person (maybe that's the reason :p ). The guy at the parts department was also very nice and informative as he put in my order.

Conclusion:

'02 rear valence @ Boston Acura dealers: $750
'02 rear valence @ Goodson Acura: $562.82
UPS shipping cost: $12.50
Susan Tabelman's service: Priceless

My '02 rear valence should arrive next week :)

Susan is a major asset to Goodson - however I paid $518 plus CA sales tax (I'm CA resident) @ Niello - no shipping was charged.

Please note you will also need the Stay, RR 71555-SLO-010 as it is different to the original - if you don't install the new stay it will bunch-up in the center as the new valance is about 1/2" lower at the bottom.

Also, for anyone else contemplating replacement, the Skirt # is RR 71511-SLO-000ZZ

Phew, lucky I ordered the stay (and some screws just in case), too. I wouldn't know about it if it wasn't the guy at the parts department who told me.

2002 Rear conversion Eric Milam @ Niello Acura 916-334-6300...

does anyone else know where i can order this?? for a cheaper price?? Eric does not work there anymore... i found that number here on nsxprime...

anyone else know where i can get a awsome deal.. and what part numbers i need??

thanks in advance.

Although Eric is no longer there, Niello Acura still offers the same great discounts to members of the NSX Club of America. The contact there is now Mike Svilarich (same phone number - they also have a toll-free number 800-359-2299 for out-of-town customers) and he will treat you right.

There was no need to start a new topic for this. It's already being discussed currently at this other topic:

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16369

EDIT: This was originally part of a separate topic that had been started. The posts from that separate topic were subsequently combined with this one. So it now LOOKS like it's all one topic, when originally it wasn't. Sorry for the confusion.

You can't blame him really. MinnesotaNSX started a new thread and that's why Forums Nazi responded to him. Somehow, the two posts are now combined.
