How many times have you heard this question: what year did they stop making the NSX?

strange.......I have never heard that question

A lot. It's funny because people that are supposedly into cars also ask this question.

Why?
because most of the time when people see my car, they asked me if it's a new model car that's just come out of the factory :)

I haven't seen many NSXs in SF Bay area, less than 15 from this 3 years I have been living in SF.

I once was asked what year mine was and when I replied "2000", the guy was shocked. He didn't think they had been making them since 1990.

Hmmm...maybe that's why so many people don't consider the NSX...they probably don't think NSXs are still being made.

So I am at a car show in TN (Slamin & Jammin) and here is one of the most Jackass questions I have ever had.
Guy: What is that ?
Me: An NSX
Guy: What year is it?
Me: 2002
Guy: Do they still make them?
Pause...................
Me: yea they still make them.
Guy: its a 2002??
Me: yes
Pause..................
Guy: when did they start making them again?
Me: they never stoped
Guy: oh

I dont think the guy belived me.
Oh well.

The questions I usually get are:

How much does that thing cost?

Are you wealthy/rich?!?.............usually from ricer teens

Is that a 2003?

"When did they start making them again??" new Corvette?" BLASHPEMY~!!!! lol
but yeah never had anybody ask me that question. but getting a lot of complements :D

I get the "what kind of a car is that" and "they still make those?" ALL THE TIME. It's funny, one guy pulled up next to me, asked me what it was and said I'm going to have to get me one of those... hmmm. I'm positive he had no idea about the price. I also get people who ask me what year the car while pretending to know about the car .... I can tell by the questions that they ask that they don't know... e.g. "are they still putting v8s in those?"

Another time, I was pulled over by two cops on a Fri. night in the early morning just to talk about the car. He flashed his lights and everything. They were a little creepy; they wanted to know what I did for a living, etc.... very strange - and there was someone in the back seat!
