This photochop pic will gives you an idea of how the more production model HSC will looks like which will be display at 04 tokyo motor show. I'm very interested to purchase one as soon as it come out, but I'm really interested to see the final rear-end design.

HONDA HSC, 3.5 liter V6 350hp+(not confirmed), SH-AWD. price around $60k~$80k (undecided).

IMO, 350hp~380hp is ok if the weight is around 2850 lbs. what I will do is add a super-charger to make it 450hp~500hp, and I believe the total price will be around $90k. My question is do you think is a good idea to have a super-car with near 500hp for the price of around $90k? with HONDA's reliability. how many of the nsx lover will be interested?

well i'm planning on buying a 2006 997.
i'd LOVE for a new nsx to come out - as it would blow the doors off the 911
as the 91 nsx did.

i would buy the hsc shown at the 2003 tokyo motor show not the hsc in the photo above

I fell in love with the original NSX, and I'm almost sure I will not buy the HSC. I'm actually looking to get another sports car, probably one of Italian descent.

Who has done this photoshop is my question?

Original photo was from "BestCar" magazine, all I did was changed the color and move down the side mirror :)

rickysals, i'm very impressed with your photoshop works. I like your photoshop work for the HSC, but IMO is a bit "over done". Can you make one thats more "production like"? BTW, I love the one you done for the LEXUS simply amazing!

I was under the impression that the $50k-$70K Acura Sports car was NOT the HSC, but anither totally different car . The HSC will be coming out in '07-'08 and will be around $130K. Wee? Noo?

I would never say no. When I see it, if it is as stunning as the NSX was/is my wife and I would definitely look at one and then decide. Until then, we do not lose any sleep over it, we love our '01 NSX-T.

This new HSC is UGLIER.

I don't see myself in such a dull, uninspired design.

Considering the first HSC design, with some mods for its tail, side scoop and front bumper and assuming a more than 400 hp drivetrain and efficient and ultra quick paddle shifting system, I would buy one. But actually I'm more on the side of acquiring a nice used Diablo SE 30...

Cheers all

Effer

Honda, you want my hard earned money?

Give me a truly nice 2nd gen NSX @ less than 3 kg/hp * power to weight ratio @ less than 90K$. Period.

*by example: 1260 kg for 420 hp or 1290 kg for 430 hp

a perfect scenario would be 1260 kg for 480 hp...

Let me put it this way. If I saw a new HSC and an '04 NSX, I'd be flying in the air like Neo in the Matrix towards the '04 in a heartbeat. The HSC is butt ugly (pun intended).

..and melt the engine? I do not think you will have a reliable FI system for a the first couple years after the new NSX/HSC/whatever introduction.

Anyway I would never pay 70k for that... :(

NUK3M: I agree with you, the HSC is beautiful. I liked it when it was first shown, but with time it's really grown on me. Does anyone here know who designed it?
