How long should it take to swap

What brand is in the car and what brand are you switching to?

Are the set of coilovers going in fully assembled already?

If all goes easy 2 hours, if they give you trouble add 1 hour:). If the set going in are Koni's and need the perches swapped add one additional hour.

Using the labor guide on this site (Mitchell) it is 3.8 hrs for the shocks and 1.6 for the alignment. Total= 5.4 x their labor rate plus tax.
If it is a quality shop, with a conscientious tech with computerized alignment that will set the ride height on your new setup, about $400 is not out of line.

Thanks for the info guys. His quote as abouit $400. Funny thing I just discovered this shop the other day, and on a whim asked if they do corner balancing, of course expecting a no answer, but to my suprise they do. Not that I plan to have the car CB, but it would seem to me a good choice if I used them.

Cheers,
Ross

Can you help a brother out? What is corner balancing?

why bother with coilovers without corner balancing? have it set properly and leave it alone, unless u are adjusting every so often for a new track. then you would have it balanced for each track individually.

Ross,
Save yourself $400 man, very easy DIY and it should take you nomore than 4hrs for the job, call me up if you need help.
