Looks like this one may have a pattren to movement like rubics cube.

I think different browser also runs this thing at different speeds so some people's time might seem incredibly high to others.

Third try:
17.075 with the mouse that sits on the desk (doesnt move) and I roll the track ball with my thumb. Much harder - I think!
