My buddy is looking to join the ranks of the few the proud, us nsx owners , so he has been searching and came up with this. 02 NSX Silverstone for $44,995. 65k miles, This is who is selling the car: http://highlinecar.com/inventory.html

Is this REAL? FAKE? Any history on this car??
Listed VIN is JH4NA21622T000020.

I just about fell off my chair when he told me he's going to look at this car tomorrow for only 45kish, I have a 95 with a ton of work that I have always thought was worth somewhere in that ballpark, give or take

Thanks guys

I looked at that car as well on-line.Cars.com had more pics if I am not mistaken'.The top of the windshield passenger side looks kinda....... and the headlights are definately sand blasted from road debris, also the hole on the back licence plate, look through it,it looks EXTREMELY dirty .
But the windshield is what would worry me !(may just be the pick I can't tell !
Just my $.02 and not to say it isn't a good car but just be careful.

Let's just say I came about a heart-beat away from buying the "Incarnation Blue Car"
I mean CLOSE !!!
I haven't slept for two days !
Exactly why I got out of a NSX,LOL !
It is an obsession that you just can't explain!
I was going to bury myself in a line-o-credit to get it,LOL !!
Anyway this is off topic !

Here are a few pics I was talking about.

I saw and drove the car. It has been painted completely, none of the body panels line up, all the seems are out of wack and there is rust everywhere there are steel brackets and bolts. The trunk and everything in it was rusty. I think this car spent a lot of time in the salt in New England. The engine drives very strong and tight, testimony to the quality of the Acura. I would not buy this car unless these things do not bother you. By the way the clutch appeared to be original as the engement was at the top of the travel. No service records available although it is a one owner car per carfax. I beleive this was one of those lease and drive it till its done situations. This car has had no love, think of it as a junck yard dog.

My 2 cents.

I agree you should be careful, but you can't be sure the headlights have been damaged by road debris from the picture alone. Someones, dirt, lint, etc. cause that spotting effect you see on the headlights when the lights are turned on. I believe the HIDs make it look worse than it actually is.

As for the roof, it just may be the glare and the reflection from the bright light causing that "bent" look in the paint. The rubber seal may just be off.
