I know one of the things I have to do 1st is removing the T-top, but my main concern is will removing the seat scratch the interior and the exterior of the car. For those who have done this or have seen someone else, is it hard? Does it slide right out? Any tips?

Undo 4 bolts and a plug for the seatbelt light/power seat, that's it! Just becareful when you remove the seat out of the car not to have the bottom metal mounting rail scratch your interior. Simple and straight forward.

A tip is to place a towel down on the sill. I even use race tape when I do a customer's car to make sure it doesn't slip off.

Not true. I removed my seats last year to install Dali Racing's harness bar / belts, and the targa roof stayed on.
