How fast is a 1998-2000 nsx auto?

Not good compare to the manual, given that still has the 252hp engine and the same transmission with added weight from the Targa top.

Expect low 14s: 1/4 sprint, and low 6s or high 5s: 0-60 time.

Since the NSX engine does not have an abundance of low-end torque, you lose a lot on the take-off. Auto transmissions are much better with cars that have lots of low-end torque like a corvette or AMG-mercedes. On those cars you lose almost nothing.

Which is exactly why the engine in the auto NSX is tuned for more low end torque.

How fast is a 1998-2000 nsx automatic from 0-60 and quarter mile?

Car-Stats.com Report for 1998 Acura NSX
Obtained from C&D August, 1998

0-60: 4.5s
1/4 Mile: 12.9s
1/4 Speed: 110mph

( seems to be fairly quick for an auto...so I'd add .4s-.6s
and that should be a rought 1998 auto, NSX 1/4 time... )

These are DEFINITELY not times for an auto!

An auto does 0-60 in 5.8 seconds, and around 14.3-14.4 in the quarter mile.

The auto 0-60 time is around 5.8 I think. I know that my manual shift NSX feels significantly quicker than my auto NSX.
