How do you mount your cd changer?

Just wondering how do you mount your cd changer... mine is on a fixed bracket with the opening facing up on the driver side of the trunk. It ( the cd ) skips like hecX...!

I wonder if there is a better way to prevent skipping.. Plus Boston sux so a 3 mins song for me might take a 5 mins on my car to finish..

I just put a new Alpine in my car. Mounted it vertically on the front right of the trunk. Used the 'L' brackets that came with the changer and through-bolted them to the the carpet and matting lining the trunk. Didn't run screws through the metal. The changer is very secure and isolated from direct vibration of a metal-on metal attachment. It also has a measure of isolation from the road. Made the holes in the lining/matting with a soldering iron. I'm very pleased with the results.
