I'm about to spend the weekend switching out my coilovers, looks like removing the garnish would make things a lot easier. Can one of you guys walk me through the removal process? I hate to forget one hidden bolt and rip it off somehow. Thanks. I couldn't find any instructions when doing a search.

Thanks sduff! I found a post here that says its 7 screws, I can see all 7 so it looks like I'm good. 3 in the engine hatch and 4 in the trunk. Just wanted to make sure there's none underneath or hidden.
gotta love this site.

It's pretty straight forward with screws on the engine hatch side and when you open the trunk there's also screws there as well. Nothing's hidden if I remember.

There's 7 screws.
The procedure and location of the screws are outlined in the 1991 Service manual section 20-54 (or page 800 of the .PDF). You can find a copy in the NSXPrime Wiki.

I'm curious, what's wrong with your coils? Are you changing them out for new ones? What kind of problems were you having, thanks...

I have tein RAs right now but I got a really good deal on a set of KW v3s. So I'm switching them out. I like the RAs but they are a little stiff, and I've read really good things about the KWs.
