How can I tell if I have my original front glass?

I went out for a drive tonight and got nailed my a huge rock thrown by a pickup. Ended up putting a nice 3/4 inch star in my windshield. As I was looking at it after the ride I noticed that my glass doesn't say "Honda" or "Acura" anywhere on it, but it does say "Lamisafe." First off, is this the original glass? Secondly, if the chip isn't repairable and I make a claim with my insurance company (as it is in my line of sight), how do I go about requesting oem glass? Do I have a right to request oem spec (and still pay the same deductable) or will my insurance tell me I have to take whatever the glass repairer will put in?
