I've seen a few posts about NSX's being stolen. How?
The shop manual, but not the owner's manual for my '94 Green/Tan states that the stater is disabled if the alarm goes off. Are they are being towed?
I don't worry too much about it since mine is 10 feet away from my office window and in the garage (with burglar bars) at night.

My best guess is disconnect the battery, unlock the door, open the hood, reconnect the battery, steal car like any other Honda.
I hope it isn't this easy.

Since my car NSX was stolen, I've been looking into that same question myself. There are some serious flaws in the design of the NSX in this direction, and in the different factory and aftermarket antitheft systems as well. I won't discuss them here, no sense in advertising them.

Come on guys this is a easy one. You have a stick correct? Ever heard of push starting.

Also the factory alarm is installed in the same location in all the NSX's. If you know how to steal one you know how to steal them all. Go with a aftermarket alarm. Get them to install it in a unique location, in other words somewhere besides under the dash. The installation is 89% of the security.

Just don't go crazy, because if they want it bad enough they will always find a way aroud it. You will drive yourself crazy trying to think of all the ways they can steal a car. Just when you think you have thought of them all they come up with a new one.

I was trying to explain this to Ravetek but didn't get anywhere. Here is a pic of a owner that thought they thought of everything. He had a hood lock on this car.

FWIW - if somebody REALLY wants to steal something, they will - no matter the defenses.

Simple as that.

Go with a aftermarket alarm.

I wanted to go with an aftermarket Viper alarm (with keyless entry), but everyone thus far has advised me to stick with teh OEM keyless entry.. Now I am more confused.

I am not sure why anyone would advise you to do that? Go with the aftermarket it offer much better security. You can also have the installer hook it up to the factory alarm as well. So when you arm and disarm the viper it will also arm and disarm the factory alarm.

My company Buzz-Off Alarms has installed over 42,000 alarm systems in 20 years. Having performed over 50 effective NSX security systems we know how to stop theft. lots of times its an inside job,,,parking garage attendant, valet parking, alarm n radio installer....i heard a story where the radio alarm place had a key making machine in the shop and while u were gettin ur work done they made a copy and since they have ur addy on the reciept it was easy for them to steal ur car. Here they would also rip out ur door lock cylinders and make a key to work in it knowing that it was the same for the ignition. Two way alarms are the way to go and park it in good locations steering wheel locks and shift locks will also make theft harder
